Eurolang Language Sample

Translation Eurolang is a constructed language which I designed to be a common second language for the European Union (EU). Its vocabulary is based on German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Latin. I designed it to be easy to learn and use. In particular, an educated European who already knows one or more of the above languages should be able to read Eurolang (without too much recourse to a dictionary), after having studied it for 2 days. Of course, producing it is harder than reading it. Could you read this easily?
