Tehran, July 10 (IRNA) -- Ex-President of Austria and current President of Desterrchische Kontrollbank Ag, Frantz Vranitzky, who is in Tehran at the head of a high ranking delegation, met with Iran's First Vice-President Hassan Habibi here Tuesday. The two officials discussed expansion of bilateral economic ties. The Austrian envoy handed Habibi a congratulatory message on behalf of the Australian Chancellor Thomas Klestil for his Iranian opposite number President Mohammad Khatami on his re-election victory. Habibi referred to Iranian economic capabilities and called for expansion of industrial and trade ties with Austria. Habibi said the two countries can engage in bilateral cooperation on information technology, metro, railroads, supplementary industries as well as financial and fiscal issue. |
